Our Teachers:
At Thurrock Tuition Centre only Qualified, Experienced and DBS(CRB) checked teachers plan and teach our students' lessons. We strongly believe in the value of qualified, experienced and professional teachers, because as qualified teachers, not only do we understand how children learn, we can also identity the gaps in their learning and develop strategies on how to fill these gaps. You can be rest assured that all our teachers are knowledgeable and proficient in teaching their subjects and age range.
Our lead teachers are Centre owners Shola Alabi and Rachel Osinaike. We have a great team of teachers who are specialists in their subjects and are all passionate about teaching their subjects. All our staff believe in Imparting Knowledge, Instilling Confidence and Inspiring every child to Succeed. We all work closely together to bring the best out of every child.

Shola Shola has 20 years teaching experience and has been recognised as an outstanding, excellent teacher by OFSTED. She is a Secondary Science specialist with a BSc and PGCE from University of East London.
She has over over 15 years experience of tutoring children and preparing them for 11+ and all selective common entrance school and scholarship exams. Shola teaches the entrance exams and KS 3 and GCSE Science students. |

Rachel has 19 years teaching experience as a Science specialist in Secondary Science. She has a BSc and PGCE in Secondary Science from University of East London. She also has a flare for tutoring 11+ entrance exams students and has 14 years experience of teaching and preparing children for Entrance exams into Selective and independent Schools. She also teaches our KS3 and GCSE Science students.
Shola and Rachel both have their own school age children, therefore can identify with your concerns and aspirations as parents as well as teachers! |

Sohana is our Maths Specialist and lead Maths GCSE teacher. She has been a teacher of Mathematics for the last 18 years. Sohana is a qualified teacher with a BA and PGCE in Secondary Maths.
Sohana currently teaches Maths from year 7 through to year 11. Sohana is very good at helping to build our student's confidence in Maths which helps them make good progress and improve their levels and grades. |

Cheryl is also our primary teacher and teaches our KS1& 2 students. She is a qualified teacher with twenty years of experience of teaching pupils’ at KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5.
She has a BA. In Guidance and Counselling, Physical Education and Science. Cheryl is a dedicated member of our team and has been teaching with us for 5 years. She works passionately with the students to bring the best out of them. |
